Kurt grew up in Florida, dreaming of grand adventures while flipping through comics and button-mashing his way through video games with his friends. Although he excelled in school, sports never came easily, and he spent more time on the sidelines than the field. But he fought for a spot on his high school football team, and learned firsthand that persistence can carry you where natural talent won’t.

That same grit now drives his writing. When the stories within him grew too loud to ignore, Kurt committed to turning his imagination into structured tales. The years he spent imagining himself as the hero are now channeled into building flawed, compelling characters who feel real because they come from a place that is.

By day, Kurt works as a financial client service manager which requires solving complex problems – a skill he carries over into his writing when the plot won’t cooperate. He loves the messy middle of storytelling, where connecting point A to point B feels like an impossible quest, and hopes that his stories mean something to readers who find themselves and their childhood reflected in the struggles of his characters.
